Yay!! A new small town!!! Loved all the new faces and sweetness that comes with small town America!! Holding Ground was the first book in Piper and Rayne’s new The Mercer Family series! It was full of grumpiness, witty banter, and so much heart!! 

Elliott had been making single-dad life work for the last 5 years. He wasn’t looking to change anything but when Emelia came to town, he knew immediately that she was about to rock the boat. 

Oh my goodness!! All the stars! This series really started off with a bang! Elliot was such a great single dad and I loved how his and Emelia’s relationship evolved! Getting to meet the entire town was a hoot! And Baylor, gah, I hate  sweetheart! I can’t wait to see more of these three as well as the rest of the Mercers!!
