Oh.My.Lord!!! Holy I didn’t know I desperately needed this book!!! Fallen Rook was the third book in Shen’s Society of Villains series. It can be read as a stand-alone but you will have a better understanding if you read (or listen to) them in order. It was still full of grit and darkness but there was such a sense of purity to it. It has honestly been hard to completely describe everything I felt!!
Tom’s job was to lock away the Camorra but when he got too deep, would he be able to actually do it? Wanting Enzo was never part of the plan but Tom never really had a choice, or did he?
I couldn’t wait for Enzo’s story and trust me, he didn’t disappoint. I loved how complex he was but still acted like the baby of family too. Tom was such a good match for him! And the spice, holy cannoli!! I don’t want to give too much away but there were times that I wasn’t sure I was going to like what happened next, but so glad I kept going. Gah! It was so good! Such a rollercoaster ride, but worth every low for all the highs!!
I listened to this one and let me tell you, the cast was AMAZING! Definitely don’t miss this one and if you’re an audiobook lover, run now!!
