The Game We Played (The Steel City Seals Series Book 2) Review

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh Smuggler’s Hideaway, you never disappoint!! The Game We Played was the second book in Dena’s The Steel City Seals. It was full of witty banter, spice, and so much fun!
Tanner was on the island for the summer. He and his team were there for training camp but he had room for other things when he met Alaia. She turned him down more than once, but finally gave in when he offered her a deal she couldn’t refuse. She would be his fake girlfriend and he would help her prove that she had what it took to be more than a small town gossip columnist. But when fake starts to become real would they survive the fallout?
Loved the chemistry with these two! Tanner was such a sweet goofball, who might have had slight trust issues, but who could blame him! As always, loved all the small town charm! It was fun to get to catch up with people from the past as Tanner and Alaia navigated their way. So glad to see Sammy as holds a special place in my heart! And Alaia’s sisters were hilarious! I know we are only on book two of the series, but it was my favorite!! I can’t wait to see what Dena has in store for us next!!
