Oh my goodness!! She saved the best for last. Never After Us was the fourth book in Claudia’s Heartbreak Mixtapes series. It can be read as a stand-alone but definitely check the others out when you get a minute. It was emotional, heartwarming, and full of love.
Mara landed in Seattle to settle her late aunt’s estate. She thought it would be a quick stop before they were on to their next adventure. She definitely wasn’t prepared for a grumpy neighbor who seemed to become more and more important to her as she uncovered family secrets. Would she end up staying in one place or would everything be too much?
Gah, I wasn’t ready for all the emotions I felt with this book. It was truly a rollercoaster that had me buckled in and hanging on and loving the ride. I loved how all the pieces fit, and watching Mara and Alec slowly build a solid foundation was so special! And Mila…that girl was something else. I loved her!! Even though I hated to say goodbye, I’m so glad they both were happy in the end! I just hope Mila got her wish!!
