This book had so many layers, not only was it an amazing second chance romance but it was about sticking up for others and doing what was right. I already loved this series, but this book took it to another level. Forgetting The Rules was the fifth book in Mariah’s The Dating Playbook series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I would recommend reading them in order. It was emotional, sassy, and full of love.

Rose’s past was affecting her present. Her rules kept guys at an arm’s length, making sure they couldn’t get too close. But when one guy continues to break through the rules, could she keep them in place or forget them?

Ian knew he had made a mistake in not fighting harder for Rose. After a summer away, he was determined to do whatever it took to get Rose to let him in. When the rumors started, would it bring them closer together or tear them apart?

All the feels! Rose was such an amazing person. I loved getting to watch their relationship grow and work through their pasts. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of these guys!
