I may say this every time, but I was really worried I wouldn’t like the Havens, strictly because I was (and still am) team Bailey. And as usually, I had nothing to worry about, Claire always has our backs!! I think Luke might have become my favorite Haven!! Whispers and Wildfires was the fourth book in Claire’s The Haven Brothers series and can be read as a stand-alone but definitely check out the others!! It was full of witty banter, many emotions, and suspense!
Luke made it look like he was a good guy but he had a hidden side. He secretly liked chasing that adrenaline high, but was that really what he was chasing?
Melanie found herself moving back to her home town to start over. The last thing she needed was the extra hassle of her high school ex. But living in a small town didn’t let her escape him. Would they be able to get over their past before it was too late?
I was on the edge of my seat there for a while. Claire does such a great job of making you feel like you are right there in the book! Luke and Melanie had an amazing connection that took them a little bit to figure it out! So glad it worked out for them! Can’t wait to see more of these Havens!!
