Oh Bitterroot Valley, you have so many secrets!! When We Break was the second book in Kristen’s The Blackwells of Montana series. It can be read as a stand-alone but definitely check the first one out if you haven’t! It was full of swoon, protectiveness, and heat!!

Beckett knew Skyla was special the minute he laid eyes on her. He just had to take it at her pace and let her lead the way. He was used to going the distance and wasn’t going to give up!

Skyla had moved to town to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and to lay low. She was hesitant over everything especially men. So when Beckett kept coming around and showing her he was safe, would she be able to trust her instincts or had her stalker ruined her for good?

Oh Beckett!! Talk about all the swoon!! He was ready to rip apart the world to get to her! And I loved Skyla’s love for the chickens!! These two were so sweet together. She fit in perfectly with the crew! Can’t wait to see where this series goes!!
