Trust Me – Trust Series Book 1

I recently read Play Me that was co-written by Kristen Mayer and Kelly Elliot (it was amazing! Read it!!). After finishing it I did some research and found out that Kristen wrote The Trust Series (3 books) about Kendall’s parents, Damien and Allison, and Kelly wrote The Playbook about Hunter’s parents, Brett and Aubrey. I just finished The Trust Series and plan to start The Playbook soon!! (I also saw that Bane has his own book!! I need to add that to the list 🙂 )

Allison lost her parents to a tragic car accident and has been numb ever since. She decides to take a trip for a week to unplug, unwind and find herself again.

Damien and Allison meet one evening by accident. Allison is apprehensive about him at first but soon finds herself falling for him! Since they hit it off, their relationship follows them home. Allison’s best friend Sam seems to think he is a little overprotective but Allison understands his protective nature due to a heartbreaking tragedy.

When Damien’s dark past catches up with him it puts Allison in grave danger. Will he be able to keep her safe? Be prepared for it to end with a cliffhanger!!

Overall I liked the book, it was a little drawn out and repetitive but sometimes that happens with an authors first book/series. I really wanted to find out what happens to everyone and the mystery of it kept me reading. Her writing style has tremendously improved from this series to her Exposed Hearts Series and Play Me!!
