Tricks (Take It Off Series Book 6) Review
By Cambria Hebert
Tricks was the 6th book in Cambria’s Take It Off Series or the 1st book in the 2nd Box Set. I wanted to love it, but the whole concept was a little off for me. I loved the suspense but I just didn’t like how little she reacted when she found out. It was still sexy and worth the read and I did enjoy it.
Tucker was ready to hang up his Marine’s hat and start a career as a P.I. But as he was getting ready to hit the road, he was asked to step into his twin brothers life to catch his killer. Putting his new life on hold, he made it his mission to bring his brother justice. The one thing he wasn’t counting on was his brother having a girlfriend.
Charlotte was a super busy lawyer. She was used to coming home to an empty house and her relationship with Max seemed to be more for show. So, why was it that Max (Tucker) was suddenly made her want more? Would she find love before their time was up?
I don’t like writing reviews for books I didn’t love. I never want to hurt anyone’s feelings but I don’t want to lie either. I still enjoyed the book, like I have said before, this series doesn’t seem like it was meant to be taken completely serious. I think that it did a great job of keeping my attention with the suspense even if the circumstances were a little off. I will always love Cambria! ❤️ I also enjoyed the little update on Nathan and Honor from Text!
