I absolutely loved every single page! I started before bed and may have stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it. Once I started, I couldn’t stop! Things We Never Got Over was the latest heartfelt, honest, quirky amazingness from Lucy Freaking Score!!
Naomi had run from one disaster to another without knowing it. She was a fixer and when her twin sister said she was in trouble, it was the perfect excuse to run out on her own wedding. Except, when she arrived in town, her sister had pulled another fast one on her. She skipped town and left her 11-year-old daughter in Naomi’s care. Carless, phoneless, homeless, jobless, and stuck with a Mr. Grumpyness…could she figure it all out?
Knox didn’t do complications and that was exactly what Naomi was. But for some reason he couldn’t stay away. How close would he come to breaking his own rules?
I felt this story down to my bones, it deserves 100 stars! There was something about it that was absolutely captivating. I was so excited to see we will get more from Knockemout! I loved her Blue Moon series but this town might just top it! And Lucy’s note at the end had me bawling. ❤️
