Finding love one book boyfriend at a time!

The Villain (Boston Belles Series Book 2) Review

January 25, 2022 by admin

By L.J. Shen

This book was dark but it had me begging for more. Their story was definitely not a fairytale! The Villain was the second book in L.J. Shen’s Boston Belles series. It can be read as a stand-alone, so don’t worry if you haven’t read The Hunter. It kept me on edge, was full of angst, but somehow also had me falling for Cillian!

Persephone was in a bind and needed help. She was too stubborn to go to her friends so she ended up making a deal with the devil himself. When she finally realized just how much her favor actually cost her, would she ever be able recover?

Cillian only cared about one thing – himself. Until the deal he made started becoming more than he could imagine. How far would he go to save himself?

There was just so much going on, so much to sort through and understand. They each had to find their own way, which proved to be the hardest part. Even with all the heartache they were able to find the light.
