I was so excited to see that Winnie was getting her own book!! The Tempo of Truth was the third book in Jay’s The Monster Duet. It can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading the first two for the full picture! It was full of second chances, fierce loyalty, and love!
Winnie had been through a lot at a young age but it shaped her into who she was. Coming home was yet another test of who she was but she was ready for the challenge. Except when it came to childhood Kyser (Ky), would she be able to right all the wrongs from that fateful night years ago?
Oh Ky!! I loved seeing these two in the previous books and am so glad there was still something there! The connection between the two was magnetic. Watching both Winnie and Ky as adults was something else! Winnie was such a sweetheart but could be cutthroat when needed. Ky was rough around the edges from life but melted around to those he loved. This was the perfect addition to the already great duet!!
