Kelsey warned us, and man was she serious! Make sure you have all the tissues handy!! For me, The Spider & The Storm was right up there with Warrior Blue and Saving Rain. It was a very powerful, heart wrenching, and heart warming story.

Charlie’s life had been a living nightmare. He was bullied, harassed, and experienced more trauma than anyone should ever have to. When he finally got to his breaking point, he moved away hoping to find peace. Only trouble seemed to follow him…

It took me a few days to get my thoughts in order. There was so much to unpack to be able to effectively get my thoughts across. I still feel I won’t be able to fully explain how amazing this book was. It had a little bit of everything – heartbreak, mystery, secrets, love, laughter, found family. The raw emotions bled right off the pages. Even though my heart may have broken several times, the story coming full circle had my heart bursting with joy!
