Oh my heart, this book!!! I have been waiting for Rylan and Calista’s story and it certainly did not disappoint. The Problem With Second Chances was the first book in Piper and Rayne’s Lake Starlight series. It was angsty, sweet, and just pure perfection!

Rylan and Calista had known each other since they were six. They may have started out as enemies but before they knew it, they had become inseparable. They thought their love would stand the test of time but when it came to proving that, they started to fall apart. Would they be able to beat the odds or would it truly be over?

Gah…I loved being back in their world so much! As a long time Piper & Rayne reader, this book was years in the making. I have to admit I was sad at points but everything had to happen for a reason and this book sure worked out in the end! I felt like I saw them both grow up over the years and was fully invested in their life! What an amazing start to the series!
