The Playbook

I found about this book from reading Play Me, written by Kelly Elliot and Kristin Mayer. Play Me has 2 of their couples from previous books (Aubrey and Brett from The Playbook and Damian and Allison from The Trust Series). Play Me was amazing and I suggest you read it! You can read The Playbook and The Trust Series (3 books) either before or after, it’s up to you.

I enjoyed The Playbook and getting to see what made Aubrey and Brett such a great couple. It was fun connecting the dots from Play Me to The Playbook.

Brett coaches college football and Aubrey writes for ESPN. They both see each other at a game and sparks fly. It takes a little while before they actually get to meet when Aubrey is assigned to write a story about Brett and his college. After denying their feelings for some time they both finally cave and boy is it hot! Of course as it is a love story so they realize they don’t want the same things and break each other’s hearts. Time passes, they try to move on but can they?? Since I read Play Me first, I know they lived happily ever after but it was sweet to see how everything came together!
