Caleb!!!! I was so happy to hear he was getting his book! The Persistence of Thornes was the third book in Micalea’s Wildflowers series. If you don’t want spoilers I would suggest starting with the duet (The Confidence of Wildflowers and The Resurrection of Wildflowers) first, but otherwise everything was explained in this book so you won’t be lost. It was full of tears, emotions, and swoon!
Halle came to Hawthorne Mills to start over. As her twin brother’s guardian she wanted to provide everything she could for them. What she was not ready for were all the mishaps that kept her new neighbor coming to her rescue. They definitely had chemistry, but like everything else in her past she figured he was temporary.
Going into this book I felt sorry for Caleb and was also a little annoyed with him, but I definitely wanted all the good things. Let me tell you, this book really put it all out there and made him so loveable! I loved getting to see all sides of him! And Halle, she had been through so much but was still going. She was definitely stronger than she gave herself credit for. These two were so perfect together. I know Micalea mentioned there might be more to this series and I really hope so. Laith, the twins, and Seda need their stories told too! Plus that would give us updates on everyone else!!
