Oh my heavens! I loved Ben, but Jude…he was something else! The One I Stood Beside was the second book in Piper & Rayne’s Plain Daisy Ranch series. It was touching, sweet, and full of swoon!
Sadie and Jude had been friends practically their entire lives. They had seen each other through so many stages of life that getting married should be the next step, right? Only, it wasn’t for real, they were faking it to help save Sadie’s family farm. How long would pretending go on before real feelings started to show? Would their friendship survive?
These two had such a great bond and would do absolutely anything for each other. Watching them find their way was perfect. I loved how they each didn’t want things to change but at the same time, they needed to! Can’t wait to see glimpses of them in Emmett’s book!
