The Ivy Years Part Two – The Shameless Hour and The Fifteenth Minute
By Sarina Bowen
Sarina’s Ivy Years continue in Part Two with books 4 and 5. In case you missed it, Part One contains books 1 through 3 which I suggest you read first. You don’t have to but some of the characters from before are in these books, it is nice to have their back story. Sarina also has three novellas that she put together in one book called Extra Credit.
I read Part Two in a day, both books had me sucked in immediately. Props to Sarina for tackling some really hard subjects with such finesse!! Her characters are all so relatable, you want them to be your best friends! I only wish there was more to the epilogues! Can you tell I am having a hard time letting this series go? I want more!!
The Shameless Hour
Rafe loses his virginity after one night of drunken fun with his neighbor; something he immediately regrets. But Bella doesn’t understand why it is so hard for him to remain friends, sex can be fun. Can Bella change his mind or will a horrible stunt break her spirit?
Wow! This book had all the feels. Rafe and Bella are amazing together, what he does for her is pure love.
I was so happy she got a book since I was so sad for her after The Understatement Of The Year, been there…done that…it sucks! So glad she got her happily ever after!!
The Fifteenth Minute
Movie star Lianne Challice wants a normal college experience but with paparazzi around, it proves to be difficult. She tries to keep a low profile as much as she can but when she notices DJ, it becomes more difficult. Daniel “DJ” Trevi is in some serious trouble but can’t talk about it, he may not be able to stay at school much longer. Will he be kicked out before they even get a chance?
This book had the most powerful impact on me. I could not imagine what DJ had to go through. Knowing you are not guilty of something but not fully given the chance to stick up for yourself. Amazing book. Amazing series. Do yourself a favor and read these!!
