Oh this was such an addicting book! Once I started, it was very hard to put it down. The Forbidden Freshman was the first book in Katy’s Nolan U Hockey series. There was a prequel, Hockey House V-Cards, that I do suggest you read first, but you don’t have to! It was full of witty banter, sweet hockey players, and chemistry!
Ethan lost a bet and now was to go a month without being with a girl. He was already dreading it, and then when he met Mikayla, he was down right regretting it. There was something different about her than with other girls but with both of them not being fully honest, would they survive?
I absolutely loved Mikayla’s tenacity and feistiness! Ethan was such a big old teddy bear! They really complimented each other and their chemistry was off the charts. I do have to say I wanted to knock both of them upside the head a few times with their miscommunications. Otherwise, I loved her writing style and it was hockey…my favorite!! I can’t wait to see where this series goes!
