I was super excited for this one and LJ Shen did not disappoint! Her new stand-alone was writer in true Shen fashion. It was steamy, funny, and emotional.

Maddie wanted everything to be perfect. So when her ex-boyfriend came crashing back into life, would she be able to keep the balance or would her life come tumbling down?

Chase needed Maddie to help with his Dad’s last wish. He thought she would jump at the chance but what he found was her fighting every step of the way. How many walls would he have to knock down to gain her trust again?

I truly enjoyed it. I was laughing out loud one minute and had tears streaming down my face the next! I loved getting to watch Maddie become her own person. Her and Chase made a super cute couple who balanced each other out!
