Text (Take It Off Book 4) Review
By Cambria Hebert
Text was the fourth book in Cambria’s Take it off series or the fifth if you are reading the box set. Text was more suspenseful then the others, a living nightmare!! But don’t worry, it still had steam!
Coming back from a run, Honor’s favorite trail became the scene of her worst nightmare. Alone, with no one in sight she tried her best to fend off her attacker but he was just too strong. After a blow to the head, he took her deep into the woods and tossed her in a hole. With a promise to return, he took off. She was beaten, bruised and afraid but she had a sliver of hope. She was able to steal his phone but would she be able to get service?
Nathan was ready for a night with the guys, he wanted a beer or two and to play some cards. But when a text came through with a cry for help, were his buddies playing a joke or was it for real?
It became a race against the clock. Would Nathan find Honor in time and would they make it out alive?
Holy action!! Text kept me on the edge of my seat; I think it was my second favorite of the series so far. It had its moments which included eye rolling, but overall it was a fun read.
