Sweet Crazy Song (Crown Creek) Review
By Theresa Leigh
This was my first time reading Theresa Leigh. Sweet Crazy Song was the last book in the Happily Ever After Collection I have been reading. It was another great surprise! Such a cute, fun, fast, read! It was part of her Crown Creek series but it can all be read as a stand-alone.
Jonah was back in his hometown paying his respects. As a rock star, most people were more than excited to see him but not his family. The falling out they had years ago had yet to be mended.
Ruby was the complete opposite of Jonah. While he lived the rock and roll life, she was corralling kindergarteners. Could the two of them come together and direct the school play or would it be too much?
Ruby soon finds that not everyone knows the real Jonah. Would sticking up for him change the way his family saw him? Would their two worlds come together or were they kidding themselves?
Such a sweet and loving best friends brother romance! Jonah and Ruby has such a great connection, I love when it feels so genuine! I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series!!
I want to point out that if you have issues with typos/grammar; you will have to look past some with this book. The only reason I mentioned it was because of all the reviews that pointed out how bad they were. To me, I barely noticed them. There were a few spots I had to re-read the sentence for it to make sense, but overall the story line was so good, it was super easy to not let those bother me!!
