Some Sort Of Happy (Happy Crazy Love Book 1) Review

This was my first book by Melanie Harlow. Some Sort of Happy was the first book in her Happy Crazy Love Series but it can be read as a stand-alone. At first I was not sure how I felt about certain conversations, it seemed like it could have gone down the wrong path really fast. But Melanie quickly stopped my fear of that and I ended up loving the light she painted Sebastian in. Some Sort of Happy was a very sexy, hot, racy read.

Skylar was about at rock bottom. After making a fool of herself on national tv, she was forced to move back home. Nothing like being in your late 20’s and moving back in with Mom and Dad. Could this “free” time allow her to get her life back on track or would past mistakes prove to be too much.

Sebastian moved back home too, but for completely different reasons. He needed time to figure out what he could or couldn’t handle. His life got real too fast, would he ever be able to live a normal life? Running into Skylar made him take a step back. She was the one woman he would try for, would they be able to figure things out together or would their own issues keep them apart?

Skylar was kind of annoying to me but I really enjoyed Sebastian. He was so sweet and caring, he tried his hardest to be the best person for himself and Skylar. This was not my favorite book, but I liked it enough to continue the series!
