I have been waiting to continue this series! I knew Carter was going to have one heck of a story and Sylvie did not disappoint! Smooth Hoperator was the second book in her Love On Tap series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone, but you don’t want to miss out on the first book!! It was full of grumpiness, mystery, and witty banter!
Carter’s political career may have crashed and burned but it was still following him around. He wanted his family to be safe so he devised a plan that involved a spunky local librarian and her eccentric grandfather. Would he be able to follow through with the plan before it was too late?
These two were perfect examples of when opposites attract! I loved getting to watch their friendship unfold. There were so many laughs sprinkled throughout, it was hard to put down once I started. And Duke!!! What a hoot! It was fun seeing the rest of the Carter’s family and I can’t wait to see them all again in the next one!
