Wow…I thought I would read a couple of chapters before I went to bed and the next thing I knew, it was 3:30am and I was a complete mess, in the best way possible. I honestly could not stop reading. Be ready to be taken on an emotional ride that will leave you breathless.
Soldier was expected to be more than a kid should ever be. He tried to make ends meet but learned the hard way and paid the ultimate price. Years later, even with the odds stacked against him, he tried to make his life better. Would his good nature finally win or would he be pulled back into the abyss?
My favorite book by Kelsey was Warrior Blue until this one. I still absolutely love and will never forget Warrior Blue, but Saving Rain…man, it is hard to explain all the emotions I had with this book. All the little things that came full circle, it was…just…amazing! I did not want it to end, I really hope we get to see them again sometime in the future.
