Saved By The Mountain Man or Loving The Mountain Man (Love At Last Book 3) Review
By Adriana Anders
This was my first book by Adriana Anders. Saved By The Mountain Man, as titled in Happily Ever After, was the third book in Adriana’s Love At Last series but can be read as a stand alone. It was a fun, fast read. I normally have a hard time getting into romances where they fall in love immediately but this book had me hooked. The only thing that was weird for me was all their dirty talk, it seemed out of place. There wasn’t anything wrong with it, it was just odd to me.
Christa had one hell of a night – she was hit on by her boss, lost her job, and to top it off, her car slid off the road leaving her dangling over the edge…
Luckily Micah came to her rescue minutes before her car plunged to its death. He took her back to his cabin to ride out the snowstorm. Micah wasn’t one for company but something about Christa had him intrigued.
While the storm raged on outside, the cabin started to steam up inside. Was Christa attracted to Micah because he saved her or was there something real between them? Will Micah get out of his own head or will he let the chance of love walk away?
Props to Adriana for making this book feel real and not forced as so many “mountain men” romance novels are. I look forward to checking out more of her work.
