Rookie Move (Brooklyn Bruisers Series Book 1) Review
By Sarina Bowen
Rookie Move was the first book in Sarina’s Brooklyn Bruisers Series. Leo!! He was one of my favorite characters in her Ivy Years Series, so I was super excited to read his story! Loved the tension, humor, and secrecy between them before they got their second chance.
When Leo finally got his spot on a pro hockey team, it should have been the best day of his life. Except that’s not exactly what happened – his new coach hates his guts and the one girl he had been trying to get over walked back into his life. Could he prove that he belonged before it was too late?
Georgia knew she had made a mistake but she was coming to terms with it until she saw him again. Leo was back in her life and he was not backing down. Could she figure out how to forgive herself before she lost him again?
It was an emotional ride reliving Georgia’s story. I couldn’t imagine the thoughts she had and how hard it was for both of them, my heart broke. They both thought they were doing the right thing at the time, thank goodness for second chances! Leo was such a sweet and sexy guy, making sure Georgia was always taken care of!
