Finding love one book boyfriend at a time!

Road To Nowhere (Road To Nowhere Book 1)

August 4, 2019 by admin

By M. Robinson

M. Robinson, what are you doing to my heart?? You ripped it out and I am not sure it is going to go back!
Road To Nowhere is the first book in a duet with Ends Here. This may the biggest cliff hanger so far; well the cliffhanger in Choosing Us/Choosing You was pretty crazy but if you are reading in order, this duet came first. If you like angsty live stories, M. Robinson is the author for you!

Creed is the definition of the wrong side of the tracks, his upbringing made sure of it. Nothing seems to go his way as he tries to navigate through life. Loved ones after loved ones are taken away from him, the memories of their deaths haunt him to the point of no return. Trying to atone for his sins and avenge many deaths he joins the military seeking revenge. Will the military help Creed find peace or will what he sees haunt him further?

Mia meets Creed for the first time when she is 9 years old, he is one of her brother’s best friends and several years older. She’s instantly attached to him, counting the days until she sees him again. Over the years her crush grows into more but Creed doesn’t really return the feelings. As a teen, she tries to express her feelings but he is torn between right and wrong. He pushes her away as he is not good enough for her. Little does he know he may regret that decision for the rest of his life.

Lines are drawn, mistakes are made, innocence is lost. Can Mia and Creed find their way back together or will his world come crashing down on her?

Be prepared for the cliff hanger! Luckily for me, these books have been out for a while so I can dive right into the next one.

Before I read this book I read some of the reviews (not something I normally do) and almost didn’t want start it. A lot of people were turned off by their age gap, disgusted that he was looking at a 9 year old little girl. I’m glad I didn’t let that stop me because I did not get those vibes. To me his love for her was pure, like a little sister, until she got older. Nowhere did I read that he wanted to take advantage of her when she was 9, it says he always loved her but not like that. Maybe I missed something but I think it is sweet and I know several people that have 10 year age gaps… I don’t think M. Robinson was trying to be offensive, I think she was trying to tell their story and how the bond between them started at such a young age. Please don’t let those comments stop you from enjoying her work!
