First, I can’t believe this was the end…I feel like it was the end of an era! And what a way to end it! Resisting the Running back was the fifth book in Lisa’s Nash Brothers series. It can be read as a stand-alone but if you haven’t, you must read all the other ones!!! It was a wonderful friends to lovers with all the swoon, and so much spice!!!
Sophie’s life was turned upside down when her ex exposed her secret romance pen name to her students. She now needed somewhere to go to get away from it all. Luckily for her, her best friend was ready to save the day. Miller brought her back to his home so she could lay low and focus on writing. That was until she opened her mouth and sorta kinda told her mom she was engaged to Miller…now could they go through with it?
Oh my hotness!! These two were on fire! And this series sure went out with a bang, especially that bonus epilogue!!! I loved getting to see their dynamic right from the beginning and how it grew! These two were so sweet together! I also loved getting to see past couples pop up within this book. Even though I am sad to say goodbye, I feel that we may just see them again down the road! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
