This was my first full book by Miranda and I fell in love! Not only was this book about a librarian (my first job was as a “library clerk”), but it was also about a firefighter!! Talk about hot and steamy!! Overdue was a sweet friends to lovers romance with heartfelt moments that made me swoon! 
Griffin kept himself busy as a firefighter. The more he worked, the less time he had to think about his neighbor…

Leni was the girl next door. She went from his annoying shadow, to a friend, to best friend, to more. But that “more” was not something they never talked about.

When events caused them to move in together, would they be able to fight the attraction? What would happen if they gave in? Would it end their friendship or would it be their happily ever after?
It was so good! I got lost in the world Miranda created! I loved their journey, it fit their personalities to a tee. I hope to see these two again and look forward to reading more!
