Oh my heart! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! I was super excited to go back to Blue Beech and Charity didn’t disappoint. Only Rivals was the first book in her new Only You series. It was full of angst and heartache but also full of tenderness and love!
Amelia’s world came crashing down when her boyfriend passed away. She was not exactly sure how to pick up the pieces but when she found out he left her half of his business she was ready to hold on with everything she had. There was no way the one person she didn’t get along with would chase her away, it was all she had left of him.
Jax not only lost his business partner but his best friend. So dealing with Amelia was not something he cared to do. Except, the more time he spent with her, the more he started to forget why they hated each other.
Gah!! I could not put this book down. I wanted to punch Jax a million times!! He won me over in the end though! I loved getting to see some of my favorites from other series and seeing the next generation all grown up! I have a feeling this might be my new favorite series of hers!
