This was such a fun and emotional book! It was insta-love with a Cinderella twist. It took me places I was not expecting and blew me away! Next In Line was the sixth book in J. Bengtsson’s Cake series. It was an emotional journey with lots of laughs and love!
Quinn was left in a weird position after his older brother had been kidnapped years ago. He may have come home but the damage had been done. None of them would ever be the same and Quinn seemed to be invisible to the rest of them. What would it take in order to be seen?
Jess was not prepared to spend time with Quinn. She found him desperate for a ride with no clear destination in mind. Would she be able to let go and have fun or would responsibility win?
Another great addition to the Cake series. The McKallister’s are such a dynamic family and I love that we get to see how one horrible tragedy affected each person differently. Quinn and Jess were so cute together. I loved watching their love grow and the ending…❤️
