My Soul To Keep (Soul Series Book 1)

I am so glad I chose to read this series!! Kennedy’s writing is brilliant, the emotions left me breathless. I laughed and cried right along with them.

Kai learns at an early age to be independent. She doesn’t take hand outs, she wants to earn her way through life. When her Mom passes, she gets to pursue her dreams. But at what cost? Will she be able to make it on her own or will she trust the wrong person?

Rhyson has been a star for as long as he can remember. Growing up as a child prodigy he learned that he needs to be in control of his life at all times. Music is really all that matters. When he meets Kai, a switch is flipped and he can’t stop his curiosity. To what length will he go to protect her? To make her his? Will his control be to much for her independence?

Kai and Rhyson’s relationship is written so beautifully, the kind of love you dream about.   My heart is still pounding from reading the last few chapters. The cliffhanger has me craving more!

I don’t remember who recommended this author but I am glad they did. I am ready to see what is in store for Kai and Rhyson in book 2!
