I don’t think I laughed this hard right off the bat in a while!! Poor Rafe!! My Silver Lining was the second book in Laura’s Rosewood River series. It can be read as a stand-alone but don’t miss out on the first one!! It was full of witty banter, laugh out loud moments, and all the swoon!!

Rafe and Lulu didn’t exactly hit it off when they first met. From a throat punch, to a crazy shovel incident, along with pool ball hitting a sensitive area would normally have any guy running for the hills. Luckily for Lulu, Rafe seemed to be asking for trouble when he agreed to be her fake date. Would this arrangement be the end of Rafe or just the beginning?

Seriously, I had tears rolling down my face from laughing so much with their first few encounters. The two of them were gold! Watching them slowly turn their fake relationship into something real was so sweet. Rosewood River has been fantastic so far and can’t wait to see what Laura has in store for us next!!
