Lust In Translation
By Rachel Robinson
Oh my! This book was amazing. I did not expect to have all the emotions I did. Rachel really hit this one out of the park! Lust In Translation is the first book in the Harbour Point SEALS series and am happy to report that it has a few favorites from the Bronze Bay SEALS Series. You should read them if you haven’t!
I wanted to hate Leo from how he was portrayed in the Bronze Bay Series but I just couldn’t! Leo is an amazing character, a little rough around the edges but very caring. I also wasn’t sure how I felt about Kendall (again from Bronze Bay) but as soon as I started reading her story my heart broke!
Kendall and Adam got married for the wrong reasons, I get why they did it but I don’t necessarily agree. Neither one of them are in love with the other. When Kendall starts her new job on base she reconnects with Leo and he starts to bring her back to life. Adam and Kendall finally realize in order to be happy they need to be apart. Leo and Kendall can finally have their shot at happily ever after but with war looming over them, will it happen? I never saw parts of this book coming but it made it that much better. My heart broke several times throughout the story but Leo and Kendall’s love made it all worthwhile.
