Like The Wind
By J.Bengtsson
Oh wow! Talk about being on the edge of your seat. The emotions are so raw, I felt like I was right there with them. Bengtsson has such a way with words, the book just flows and you get lost in her world. I love her Cale Series but I think Like the Wind has taken over my favorite book by her.
Normally a letter from your Mother is not a big deal unless you have been told she died during child birth. Does she just want money? What does that say about his Dad?
After getting into some trouble Bohdi decides it’s a good idea to get away while he tries to sort through everything. His oasis quickly turns into a nightmare when the house is taken over by fire.
On his race down the engulfed mountain he barely sees Breeze before it’s too late. Luckily he stops and rescues her and all her furry (and fin’d) friends. Emotions are high as they make their way to safety.
Bohdi decides he wants to stay hidden and have a few normal days before going back into the public eye. Can Breeze adjust to his life after all hell breaks loose? Is it too much for her?
The humor is off the charts but the love that Bohdi and Breeze has is breathtaking. The fire brought them together and helped build their relationship. They faced death together and won!
