Holy swoon!!! I devoured this book!! In A Heartbeat was the fifth book in Laura’s Rosewood River series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I would read them in order for the best experience! It was full of emotions, second chances, and all the swoon!!
Axel and Wren had once been best friends but life took them in different directions. Now she was back and happened to be placed as a temp worker for his ranch. Time definitely made it difficult at first, but once they fell into a routine, old habits started to resurface. Would they ever be able to get back to where they once were?
I am pretty sure this was my favorite of the series!! Seriously, it was so good!! So many emotions to work through with such a happy ending!! Loved watching Axel pick up where they left off because he never lost hope! And his whole family!! Love them all so much!! Can’t wait to see these two again in the future!
