Ahh!! I loved that Kelsie brought her Signature Sweethearts Series into this!! I am newer to the Cocky Hero Club books but not to Kelsie. Hired Hottie fit right in with her books. It was a super sweet, low angst, heartwarming friends to lovers romance.
Charlie and Levi had been friends since they were kids. Levi had always protected her then but would he continue to when they grew up?
Levi was under a lot of pressure and “offered” Charlie up as a prize to get a position at work. He promised to help Charlie’s childhood bully get a date with her. (Yeah, Levi may not have been thinking clearly on that one). Would he loose everything with that one mistake?
I absolutely loved it! I stayed up way to late to finish it but had no regrets!! Charlie and Levi were such an sweet couple. I just loved how light and heartwarming it was!
