Hero Hair (The Real Seal Series Book 2)

What a read! Another book full of steam, humor, love and angst. Hero Hair is the second book in Rachel’s Real Seal Series. It can be read as a stand alone but I will advise you to read them all!! So far Hero Hair is my favorite in the series.

Macs is a player. He doesn’t do girlfriends; random hookups are his way of life. Being a Seal doesn’t help either, it keeps him gone for long periods of time. He needs to keep his mind sharp while on missions and worrying about someone at home is not worth his time.

Teala is just like Macs, she does not do repeats. She has an issue with commitment but doesn’t let that affect her sex life. Her friends think she needs to start trying to find a real relationship. They throw out a challenge that she can’t back out of – date the same guy for at least 4 dates before “anything” happens. Can she do it??

Teala and Mac meet at the wrong time! He thinks she is a sure thingbut she just started her bet 😂 Somehow she gets him to agree to dating her. The tension and confusion between the two of them leaps off the page. Neither of them know how to navigate what they have gotten themselves into!!

What happens when two people who have never had a relationship before are forced into it? Will real emotions come into play? When the 4th date comes around, will it be over or will they find something in each other? Can they make it through or will life get in their way?

It was refreshing to watch these two try to figure out how a relationship works. Watching the changes in each of them made it feel real. Their love pulled at my heart strings and I rooted for them from the start!
