All the emotions! I could not put this one down. I have read almost all of Sarina’s books except her True North series. Good As Gold was the first book in her new Giltmaker series but it had lots of characters from the True North series. You don’t need to read anything else prior to this but I just binged all the True North books since I fell in love with everyone in Good As Gold!! It was heartbreaking, sweet, and made me completely swoon!
Matteo was supposed to go home for a little bit to make up some lost time with family. But when he saw Leila, he wanted to get to her know her again. The only problem, his life was thousands of miles away. Would they be able pick up where they left off or would they complicate things beyond fixing?
I was instantly transported into their world and didn’t want to leave (hence the binging of the True North series). The emotions felt so real and had me experiencing everything with them. I can’t wait to come back to this amazing world!
