Gaining Miles

This is the 5th and final book in Claire’s Miles Family series. I loved this novella but was so sad to see that the series is over.

This novella is a little different than the other books in the series because it focuses on the Miles children’s Mom, Shannon. Shannon of course is a little older than her late 20’s/early 30’s children but Claire did a wonderful job writing her in a such a sweet and elegant manor. You get to see little glimpses of all the children but the main focus is on Shannon. She tries to navigate her way after divorce thinking she doesn’t need to find love again, but Ben has other ideas! Ben has been Shannon’s best friend for years but never overstepped since she was married. Now that the dust has settled (I won’t give anything away, you need to read all the books in the series for the full story) Ben helps Shannon realize she does deserve to be loved again. They are the cutest couple and this novella makes a very sweet ending to a wonderful series! I can’t wait to catch glimpses of the Miles clan in Claire’s next book series about The Bailey Brothers series!!
