Oh Kai!! He was like a big puppy dog that I just wanted to cuddle!! From The Start was the third book in Dena’s The Raider Brothers series. It was full of laughs, swoon, and sweet moments!!
Harper had her plate full. She was trying to run a business, be a caretaker for her dad, and still have a life. While Kai might have been a comic relief, she knew he couldn’t be the man she needed, especially being so young. Luckily for her, he was ready to prove her wrong!
I completely get Harper’s hesitation on dating a younger man! It’s not a society norm, which is another topic all together, so it added another layer of uncertainty on the relationship. I’m so glad there are people like Kai that show men can be respectful and responsible at a younger age!! Even if they are still a goofball part of the time!! It was great not seeing him give up and I loved his relationship with her dad! I am still loving this series and can’t wait for more!!
