It was sooo good!!! Although, I wanted to throw my phone at the cliffhanger!! I knew it was coming at some point but gahhhh…I need the third one now! False Start was the second book in Lisa’s Vegas Aces: The Playbook series and must be read in order. This book kicked both the heat and the tension up a notch!
Travis and Victoria seemed to bring the worst out in each other even with the best of intentions. They both thought getting it out of their systems would help them part ways. Except when it came down to it, would they be able to stop at just one night?
The chemistry between these two…it sizzled right off the page! I absolutely loved getting to see them all grow together. Travis could try to ignore it, but there was no stopping the connection they all shared! Bring on book three!!
