Talk about raw emotions! My mind is still trying to wrap my head around everything. Crashing Waves was Kelsey’s first book in her Lighthouse Duology. It was a heartbreaking timeline showcasing the determination to live through childhood trauma, tragic loss, and unimaginable grief.
Max did not have an easy childhood. All he wanted was his parents love, but unfortunately they were unable to give that to him. How far would he go to prove himself?
My mind was a mess. I can’t even imagine. Even though Max may not think it, he has always been a strong person. I want to sit him down but I know he wouldn’t listen to me! I don’t want to give anything away so I will leave you with this – definitely pick this book up, it makes you feel in ways you haven’t even begun to imagine. Make sure you have some tissues handy when you curl up and enjoy this tragically beautiful read. But be prepared, this was only the beginning, because now I must wait with bated breath for Ebbing Tides.
