All the stars and all the feels!! I cried, I yelled, I swooned, I wanted the throw my phone, but overall I loved!! This was first time reading anything within The Cocky Hero Club but not my first time reading Nikki!! Nikki was (is) one of my favorite authors and once again she did not disappoint. Clutch player was a fantastic home run!
Harper made one bad decision that led her down a completely different path. She had to leave her one true love behind and focus on her new future.
Years later, after settling into yet another new normal, her life was thrown for a loop – the one person she thought she lost walked back into her life. Would the stars finally align for them or would their new lives be too different?
Landon spent years focused on baseball but when he saw her standing in front of him he knew he could not let her go. They would get there chance even if it was the last thing he ever did.
This had to be the sweetest second chance ever!! Gah!! Absolutely amazing! My emotions were truly all over the place. I don’t want to give anything away but man…there were parts that I was soooo mad!!! I was mad at the characters, I was mad at the situation, I was mad at Nikki…but I should have known, she would make it up to us and boy did she deliver!
