I know I have said this before but I am going to say it again, I wasn’t sure how Claire was going to make me fall in love with “The Havens” but boy did she ever! They were the sworn enemy until Levi did the unthinkable and fell in love with a Haven! (If you haven’t read the Bailey Brothers series, it is definitely a must!) Captivation Creek was the fifth book in Claire’s the Haven Brother series. It can be read as a stand-alone but I would suggest reading them in order. It was a sweet, fun-loving time, with a lots of mystery sprinkled in! 

Penelope knew something had to change but she wasn’t ready to have to start that something now. Luckily for her, her best friend Theo was ready to help in every way he could. Offering her a room in his home as well as to help her investigate a mystery that fell into their laps. But the more they searched the more danger they found themselves in. Just how far would they go to uncover the truth?

I absolutely love Tilikum, the people, the shenanigans, and the squirrels!! I also love small town, friends to lovers romance! This book had everything and then some! I loved getting to see Theo and Penelope’s friendship slowly turn into more! And all of Theo’s names for Penelope were so much fun! I loved getting to see all the Havens together and see connections with past series! Can’t wait for this series to continue!!
