Block Shot (Hoops Book 2) Review

Block Shot was the second book in Kennedy Ryan’s Hoops series. I had a hard time with this book, I don’t like cheating… I finished the book because I love Kennedy and I LOVED Banner but it lost some of its creditability with me. Now, when I looked past the cheating, it had an amazing message for women. We are all beautiful and we should be comfortable within our own skin! That was/is something I struggle with daily.

Jared was not a people person. He could barely be around his own family without getting annoyed. How was it that the only woman that could hold his attention wanted nothing to do with him. Would she ever forgive him for something that wasn’t entirely his fault?

Banner worked hard for everything she had. She learned years ago it was a cruel world and trust was something that had to be earned. When Jared came back into her life, she blew him off. But when he kept coming around, she felt her walls slowly coming down. Would she be able to give him a second chance or would his past mistakes be too much?

Banner!! Normally, the guy was what made the story, but wow! This woman was amazing! I think we all could learn a lesson from her…her drive, her ambition and her selflessness. She was one hot mama!!
