Beast (House Of Misfits Series Book 4) Review
By Cambria Hebert
This series has been absolutely refreshing! I loved the take on fairytales and how they have such a dark and jaded side which gives each book such an air of mystery! Beast was the fourth book in Cambria’s House Of Misfits series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but why not read the others as well since they are all amazing! It was full of sass, grumpiness, and lots of heat!
Ander was once on top of the world but a fire would have it come crumbling down. No longer the charming prince, he needed to figure out how to control the beast inside. He found his anger and resentment could be tamed when she was near, but what could he possibly offer her to stick around?
Emogen took an oath to care for others, so when a man that no one else wanted to deal with came to her job, she knew she needed to step up. He may have been lashing out, but underneath she knew there was a man that had lost everything. The more time she spent with him, the more she became attached but she knew it would never work. How could it? They were from two different worlds.
I loved all the feels, especially how strong Emogen was. She was truly a shining star and deserved all the happiness! The bond that these two had was perfect, it took work for both of them to overcome the obstacles they faced. I loved getting to watch Ander put the pieces together and become the man he was meant to be! I can’t wait to see where Cambria will take us next!
