If you have read any of Rachel’s Bronze Bay Series, you will have had a few glimpses of Mercer!!

Almost Had You is the second book in the Harbour Point Seal Series. It is complete stand-alone. If you have not read Lust In Translation, you should – it is heart wrenching and beautiful!

Almost Had You has a different vibe than most of Rachel’s other Seal Series. It is very uplifting and sweet. She really captured Clover and Mercer’s southern roots!

Mercer is headed home to enjoy some rest before his 3 weeks of leave are up. While the town celebrates his return, he is celebrating getting to know Clover. He has known her all his life but she has always been unobtainable until now.

Unfortunately, time isn’t on their side. Can Mercer and Clover figure out the balance of a long distance relationship or will Clover be lost in her new world without him?

A truly sweet love story showcasing the hardships of having loved ones deployed. Not my favorite in her series but still a great read!
