Holy hotness! I could not put this book down. A Risk Worth Taking was the second book in Nikki’s Falling In Love series. It can be read as a stand-alone but you will have a better understanding of everything if you read The Risk Of Falling first. It was full of lust, angst, and twists and turns!
Ellie needed to feel alive again and her solution may not have been the best idea, but it worked like a charm. The only issue, Lincoln didn’t know it was her and she walked away with more than she bargained for.
Lincoln was not a one woman man until he spent a night with a masked mysterious woman. Not only could he not stop thinking about her, he couldn’t find out her identity. Just when he was about to give up, he found her, but it was the one person he shouldn’t be with. Ellie was fourteen years younger than him and now he was stuck figuring out the right thing to do.
Oh Ellie!! My heart broke for her with everything she went through. I was so glad she got everything she ever wanted even though she had to pay a price no person should ever have to. The chemistry with these two was off the charts, even when Lincoln tried to deny it! The age difference was a little hard for me at first, but I eventually was on board! I hate how fast it went by because I already miss these guys!
